UUFA EGM 20th January 2012 – Change of Date.
The committee are postponing the EGM scheduled as above to Friday 10th February to encourage maximum attendance. The meeting will take place at 6pm, at the Angel Hotel, Abergavenny. Prior to the re-scheduled meeting, the results of the Consultation Document and Agenda for the meeting will be posted on the website at least 7 days beforehand.
UUFA member Trevor Watkins has asked that we publish a story that he has written. This story encompasses all the challenges that Trevor believes face our river.
At the 26÷10÷11 Committee meeting, following a small number of replies to our request for ideas/suggestions, it was decided to issue the following document to all members in the hope that in the proposed January 2012 EGM, a clear decision and mandate can be decided upon for the UUFA.
All responses received were in favour of the UUFA continuing which is excellent news.
